Black Goat Décor is an online home store. We believe that our homes should give us a sense of inner happiness, that there is a decorator inside of every one of us. We inspire that, with quality products and a helping hand. Our business allows the flexibility of working from home in order to balance family time while providing our customers with warm feelings of home pride.
Black Goat Décor was formed with family in mind by two lifelong friends, Jennifer and Kim. When you know someone for so long the line between friends and family starts to blur. In fact, when asked, we stumble on what we should say. We normally look at each other and say "welllll.... that's my Jen or that's my Kim". Saying friend just doesn’t describe our relationship.
Jennifer is a mother of two small children. Living on a farm is a different way of life than my upbringing. Growing up in a small town, with nature right outside the front door, the kids get the simplicity that farm life provides. We enjoy town dances, walks in the woods and caring for our goats. I invite you to look at our gallery and see our individual goats. I think you will find their personalities lovable and relatable.
Kim is a Mom too, She has 6 kids that are grown and a wonderful husband that supports her in all of her craziness. Kim will save every lost or stray animal that comes along, She loves to create. She believes if it casts a shadow she can restore or recreate it into something beautiful. We love Nature and never tire of the views on our Farm.
We both love decorating, creating warm and inviting rooms with comfort, functionality and design in mind. Your home should be an expression of your inner self. Our goal is to provide those staple pieces that help express yourself while being functional, and at the best quality possible. Our goal for this company is to create a space that helps inspire one another and build relationships.
